Welcome to everyone! Hope the time here is good for you.

I'm an old man pushing 50 (nearly 48) and began with D1 in 1996 or '97. My son has gone from watching me play D2x when he was little to now being someone I will have to fight over the computer with to play D3. But he's 15 and the old man can still take him. LOL

Pffssshhh! Kids these days. LOL.


My son and I will be playing together as well. We are getting two copies. He is 13 and I can definitely still take him.

Hello all!

Just found my old account back from the days of diabloii.net(was it like that?) and can't wait to jump in the D3 train tonight after work. I used to play countless months and years of D2 back in 2002-2004 and was a very active member of Europe Trade Forums back then. Haven't seen many nicks here I recognize apart from Flux Glad to be back in Diablo world anyway, although my time is rather limited nowadays compared to D2 days

Like mostly every1 else, played D2 for plenty of years, and started my D3 adventures last night.

So now Amelia the barbarianess(?) is lvl 11 and waiting for work break to get a few more lvls. Hope u all are having fun

Hello! I am Mikeyrat, I'm 52 and have played D1 and D2 off and on since they came out, and am now playing D3 with my lovely wife. What could be better! We actually met 6 years ago in WoW, so its a gaming match made in heaven. I've been around this forum a while though haven't posted in forever. Some of you may remember my Titan Barb Guide posted here years ago. If I have *ONE* complaint about the current D3 is that we don't have the ability to alter stats to our liking. Pure specialty builds like the Titan are simply a thing of the past... Oh well. Nice to see Flux and everyone has kept this site alive and kicking, and I also have no doubt it is sites like this (if not this one in particular) that are responsible for Blizzard realizing that there is a huge market for Diablo III and its universe, and they are responsible in no small part we are enjoying a new game today.

Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums, but not new to Diablo. I played both D1 and D2 for years. During the break between D2 and D3 I've played a lot of other games, like WoW, Rift, Skyrim, DDO and LOTRO. But every time I got bored with each of them I reinstalled D2 and felt like I had come back home. There's something about Diablo that never gets old for me. It felt great to fire up D3 last night and get a couple hours of play in. Loving it so far!

Wellll...for Christmas 2002 I got my son a D2 Battle chest, IIRC. I instlled it for him and he never got to play it

Played a TON and then left for WoW. Came back a couple of month ago to D2, ordered the CE.

Got Diablo 1 as a guft and been enjoying it ever since.

Started with D (lent to me by a friend), then got sucked in by SC:BW and missed the release of D2 and D2X because of that. Lurked here for a long time in the prime of D2X, even had a registration I think. Played some War3+X when those were released, then on to WoW (got out as raid leader of a server and Hungarian national first guild), all the while playing D2X in occasional bursts (both SC and HC ladder). Played SC2 since beta, alas not enough time to get into the even mildly competitive scene. Started lurking here again when D3 was revealed, playing now HC only; not much progress yet because the closing fiscal year 2011 just coincided with the release.

I never knew of the game until a good friend of mine introduced me to Diablo 2, it was a beautiful start of a basement playing experience.
