I started playing well after Diablo 2x was released but have been enjoying it ever sense. I still remember my first single player character being an assassin that ended up (briefly) using the staff of kings and viper amulet
I guess I used to be a hydralisk for a while given how comfortable I was with being a luker. *rim-shot* Very new to the site as far as posting goes but have been reading the strategy forums for builds and tips for years now. Thanks to that forum I've found quite possibly my favorite character build ever in the lighting fury javazon.
I'm mostly passing time waiting for Diablo 3 on off nights of raiding in WoW playing D2x with about 4-5 other guildies. It was actually our guild master who got a couple of us to be more active here and sign up for the forums and even start trading in the trade forum. Now we're doing key runs to beat up ubers and working on alts and just enjoying the wait for D3. As enjoyable as waiting for D3 can be that is
hey guys, i have been playing diablo 2 for 11 years, origionally started by downloading the demo for free from the blizzard site (took for ever on dial up).
i played it non-stop for over a month, got to level 18 on players one unable to exit the blood moor lol.
Played D1 and D2 for ages (well, D2 for about 3 years) but haven't looked back since then, when I saw the new stuff for D3 some time ago though I remembered how much I loved it and, bizarrely, how certain tracks of music (i.e. Coldplay - Yellow) remind me of playing Diablo even now - probably because they were on the CD I was listening to continuously at the time.
Can't wait for this to come out, hope it works on my laptop, and can see the projector coming in handy for many hours play of an evening!

I've been lurking for about a month and a half now as a non-user, so i figured i might as well sign up.
I have played Diablo, Diablo II, and LoD, all because my brother introduced me to these wonderful games. So many hours spent killing cows..... *sniff* memories. I have some non-ladder stuff stashed away in case I get back into D2 before D3.
I am really looking forward to the game, and I hope it comes out this year. (Pretty Please?)
Hey everybody, I'm a 22 year old male and I just finished my Bachelor's degree.
I started playing D2X in the very late 1.08 and through almost the entire 1.09 patches. I lost my play disc for awhile then used a friend's disc for several months half way through 1.10. I quit playing for years and then after reading about D3 I got interested again and started a new account back up in 2009. I played for several months with a few buddies and got my characters strong enough to uber with and then got bored of the game. I found pvp to be less satisfying with druids teleporting around everywhere.
Since then I had to re-image my laptop and Diablo is sadly no longer installed. Luckily I still have my old D2 cd keys so I was able to opt-in for the D3 beta, but we'll see how that goes, I'm not getting my hopes up.
I used to use this site years and years ago when I was an active player (mostly for info on char builds and item stats). Other than that I've been checking in a couple times a week for the past few months for D3 news.
I've been a regular reader and occasional poster on the forums for a while but this thread escaped my attention.
I'm a 25 year old male with an on and off love affair with Diablo (he's all cuddly when you get to know him honest!).
I played Diablo on and off since release but never really played on battle.net as my internet connection for some reason has always given horrible results.
I guess I started playing properly in 1.10 about 3 years ago. I made a few characters with varying success but having never traded for anything in my life I always found myself making the same old builds over and over.
After a mix u with ATMA that resulted in me losing nearly all my melee based items and runewords I decided to start from scratch. It's been on and off in terms of progress. I did the whole of normal in pretty much one burst but am having a hard time getting the time and energy to really get going. On and off as I said.
When D3 hits i definitely want to play online more with some nice friendly people as I sometimes feel I only have seen half the game. I'll roll a witchdoctor first and after that who knows.
Hello..guys a newbie in here. I played Diablo but that was before, due to some business matters I don't have any time to play anymore but anyways, I try myself to involve with this game again..
Played D1 on SP for a couple of years. Got D2 and hopped on Bnet. Played through expansion then went to WoW for the past 6 years. Now I am done with WoW for good and anticipating the release of D3. Signed up for Beta and hoping after 11 years of playing blizzard games I get in!
I have used these forums in the past for trading mostly. It has always been the most legit trading site around.
I've been playing Diablo 2 and LOD since their respective release dates. For a while, me and my friends only played with LAN connections. So there were lots of options for cheats and hacks that kinda took away some of the fun from the game.
And then I discovered Battle.net and started playing ever since. For me, Bnet is the only way to go. I also competed in Ladder Seasons and had a lot of time grinding
