Hello new forum!

I played Diablo 1 & 2, Warcraft: Orcs vs. Humans / Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness

After that, I haven't dabbled in Blizzard games including either the Starcraft series or modern-day WoW games.

So, Diablo 3 will be a taste of Blizzard again after a long hiatus.
Looking forward to it. From videos I've seen, the sound effects are outstanding and the visuals are, well...fine. Gameplay looks fantastic and I have no idea what class I'll play first, since they all look like a blast.

Now that we're at it, introductions might be in order for me as well. I've been away from these forums for quite a while, and now there are quite some "new" faces here. I was a pretty active member from 2001 until about 2005, when a newly found dedication to World of Warcraft and a busy moderator task at wow.incgamers.com made my visits here decline. Now that I'm highly anticipating the Diablo III release, I moved back here to the root of where it all started. I have missed this community very much and made numerous attempts to return - some older members might remember my comeback threads, I think I've made about 10-15 of them. So here is another comeback post, but now my green status and anticipation for Diablo III will definately keep me here! I'm back to stay, I'm really thrilled to be part of this fantastic community again.

So, to the older members, nice to see you again, and to the "newer" ones, nice to meet you!

been reading this site since 2003, but had not registered until now since i used to post on neogaf/teamliquid/argentinian forums.

Greetings all,

I've been playing Diablo since early 2002 and have been affiliated with the Holy Knights of Westmarch since January15, 2005. Didn't have a clue how to play this crazy game when I first started. Was drawn to the Paladin rigt off the bat, this was a front-line, melee warrior type who's auras benefited the entire party; my kinda guy <heh>.

Diablo 2 LoD became stale for me in late 2007, got into Warcraft just about the same time. Still maintained my crew of toons on SCNL (US West) and made several valiant attempts at HCL play as well. By this time the economy was pretty much shot to hell by all the duping and public game play was a joke with all the bots present.

My guildies and I branched out into WoW as the Westmarch Vanguard and Guild Wars as the Westmarch Brigade, but there was always something missing. We started out and coalesced as a Paladin guild in Diablo, but now our chosen game and class had become stale <heavy sigh>. But as things turn out, one doesn't have to play a paladin to be one; in essence our Paladin ethos (integrity, expertise, respect, fair\cooperative play) pretty much translates into any game or realm we find ourselves in.

And now with the imminent release and launch of Diablo 3 the long dark years are finally coming to a close. I've found this site to be an amazing resource over the years, right up there with The Arreat Summit as well as The Amazon Basin. Regarding play styles, well PvP just doesn't do it for me ... I just like getting together with a bunch of my friends\guildies and running around for a few hours while we enjoy each other's company over vent and beat the snot out of the various mobs du jour.

Hello there, I'm MackTen.


My name is Mack and I've been lurking around these forums for a while now, and I've been following the release of Diablo III since about August of 2011. I make the “Status Update” videos in the Diablo3TV section of the website, “The Mailroom,” a few other videos, and I will be making a Diablo III economics show every Saturday following the release of the game (which Diablo 3 Markets is an absolute godsend for).


I say a lot of controversial and even tin-foil hattish things, but I try to stay constructive within the realm of speculation. This aspect of my Status Update series has garnered a lot of intriguing friends and a handful of pretty strong critics, for lack of a better word. I expect to tone down a bit once the game is released, but keep in mind this is only due to what I have in mind. I stay pretty honest within my videos, whether I'm swooning with hearts in my eyes towards Blizzard or I am seething with rage at another release delay (No, I am not implying the game will be delayed again; it won't).


I started making Diablo-themed videos on YouTube in late February of this year, and I would really like to stream StarCraft II/Diablo III/ Diablo II/everythingelseunderthesun but I am literally working with a DSL connection right now. It takes me around forty minutes to upload a five minute Status Update video, and between twelve credit hours, working 20-30 hours a week, StarCraft/TES4/TES5/KingdomsofAmalur/FFXI/FFXIV/PoE/lookingatcatsonreddit I'm pretty slammed right now but I just wanted to finally introduce myself!


I'm a big fan of Diablo IncGamers, as it's one of the VERY few Diablo fansites I regular, and the only Diablo-themed website (outside of Reddit) in which I post my videos. Also, speaking of which, I just uploaded Status Update 25! I played D2 - and when we got REAL internet started online multiplayer. Later LOD came out and I played it a lot especially with 1.08 and 1.09 when 1.10 finally came out I had just quit.

Now I'm 26 and D3 is coming - life has changed but my love for this game has not!

I used to post on these forums a looooong time ago under the handle Canadia142, almost exclusively in the Off Topic forum (back when the site was diabloii.net). I've been coming around again since D3 has been announced, but haven't posted much in the forums. Which I'm slowly changing.
