you'll go in there and think "eh big deal" and the door will suddenly slam shut and lock and the corpse chunks will reanimate!
References to Diablo mythology is certainly something I'd like to see. For me, as for many of you, the butcher certainly remains one of the character the left an ever lasting impression on me even though it's been a very long time since I have played the original. I'd would also like to see somewhere good Ole Hephasto brought back to its former glory. Back in the early days of D2, this boss was so terrfying that many people would just ignore him and not face that nasty bastard. He could easily wipe out an entire party of high level characters without breaking a sweat.
I don't think this is even a question. The Butcher is as much a hallmark of the Diablo franchise as Wirt's wooden leg, which had darn well better make some sort of appearance.
I'm sorry to disappoint but thought it definately sounded like it was about the butcher, however, it was a old recollection of an old warrior. He was describing the trouble his fellow mates had many years ago (most likely 21 years ago during d1). Would be sweet to have the butcher resurrected or some other ploy to put him back in the game. Perhaps he could be a secret easter egg battle found over a year after release much like Diablo 2 had secret cow level as well as the more recent ubers.
Stay awhile and listen!
I think we all know deep down who really needs to make an appearance.
