I measured.

I measured the angle of the eye in the ice picture ( the 2 eyes in the center )

and measured the angle of the eyes on the lich king ( blizzard.com - current projects - lich king )

Both angles are the same... as well as the ice is identical from both pictures.

I want d3 BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will tie up a blizzard employee and drag him by car until he divulges information.

well on the home page of diabloii.net, they seem to have posted that it is d3...still don't know it's for sure until saturday.

People post erroneous reports and updates all the time in an effort to beat others to it. I've seen other posts where people swore up and down the eyes matched up perfectly to the face on the box of the D2 cover.

It's "probably" D3, but nobody can no for sure yet.

Have you megrded the angles from the Diablo cover eyes?

And yet, this means nothing. As the Hel rune and DIABLO letters-numbers theories from past nothing is certain.
Blizzard is probably yoting us with: A. Meaningless pictures in ice B. Stuff from all of their games, so it would be as confusing as it is annoying
