Okay, so I'm using the USWest connection to Diablo, but I was wondering... is it possible to trade with people who are in other realms?

no.
in addition you can only trade on ladder/non-ladder hard/softcore whereever your character is.

Well, you can trade, technically speaking.

Player A (West) gives item to Player B (West). Player B (East) gives item to player A (East)

However, if you transferring items realm-to-realm, then unfortunately, no, you can't.

Ah. Okay. I knew I could trade in my own realm, but I was curious about realm-to-realm.
