Upping runewords?

Hey,

Are rune-words considered unique for the upping unique cube recipe? i.e. if I can enigma in MP can I up with the cube recipe to an AP? Also, if I ebug embossed plate, roll 4os, make a fort, then can I up using the recipe to laq. plate?

I know just plain old eth armor/armor can't be upped, but I didn't know if making a runeword in it would change it to be considered "unique".
