There is no need to go to Gym any more if D2 is on Wii machine/ lol.
95% of the time I'm right, so why worry about the other 2%?

i don't mind it being in console format actually, if the gameplay is almost similar to d2..
imo, d2 is kinda like xmen legends series/marvel ultimate alliance, and those games are great on consoles..
sorry. lagged double post.
Oblivion made a successful port to Xbox. I'm not saying D3 could as well, but it's possible.
Blizzard doesn't seem too interested in the console market though.
D1 on PS1 was very clunky and awkward.
PC.
A great amount of people have mentioned in other threads that they would prefer DIII to keep the "point n' click isometric point of view gameplay". If so, I really don't see any need to get the game on a console, in spite of being possible to connect a keyboard and a mouse on them.
I agree the biggest question would be the control method.
However, I remember playing - and enjoying - The Summoner on the PS2. It had a method where you could chain attacks together to create combinations. An interesting idea that I thought was much better than the usual 'mash buttons'.
I agree D2 is quite key intensive (or at least the way I play) and each character of mine tends to have about 12 hotkeys (inc pots) plus less used skills (EG warcries) on the F-keys.
What would be interesting is how the game play changed.
I've played GTA:VC and SA on the PS2 and again while it would be hard to move D2 over, who is to say D3 is going to be identical to D2. I wouldn't see the point of that.
No, I don't believe a console only release is one the cards, but maybe as an additional format? That was what prompted this thread.
