Just curious if there is a way to play single player with the multiplayer settings.... say I don't want to log into b.net, just want to play at home without any lag, but I also want the challenge of players = 8 monsters and drops.
Possible through a tcp/ip setup, just no one joins?
let me know
use /players command in game? You can set the players to 1-8 in 1.11b
/players8 is the only way of getting a 99er in SP.
Well technically, you can play pre-1.10 and just upgrade at 99. :grin:
Kinda takes out all the fun though.
how do I use the /players 8 command in game, and do I need to set it up as TCP/IP or can I just click single player and then add that command somewhere... Sorry, I need such fundamental help
You can use it TCP/IP or just plain 'ol Single Player.
Just type:
/players x
Where x=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
thanks for the help
No worries.
Just press <enter> to open the chat window, and then type /players 8 followed by <enter>. Then hit <Esc> to close the chat window, and you should see a message in the upper left of the screen indicating that the players setting has changed. You can use any number from 1 to 8.
