replacing shael w/ 15ias/ed jewel need oias help.

ok using the kodiak build w/ a few tweaks based on newer rune words (such as fort for armor).

I have a shaeled azurewrath and according to the guide I will need 5% oias to break frame rate. Anyway I want to replace my shaeled azurewrath w/ a 15ias/38 ed. so is it as simple as adding another 5% oias to keep my speed? or do I need to add more oias?

secondly how much more oias would I need to break next fpa?

bad idea. you're better off just getting an ebotdz and using a highlords to bump it down a frame.

lots more damage (we're talking up to 9k with max maul) and ds as well.

unless that jewel is duped (probably is) and you have easy access to more ias/ed jewels save it for something MUCH better.

I kinda like my setup. I'm using a SS pdiamond and I am a 1 hand build w/ maxed summon grizzly (who has no interest in a 2 hand build). I also have 2 15res/15ias. so i was thinking bout putting 1 in my SS and one in my jalaals.

So I need to know about the IAS issue. Thankyou in advance.

i was talking one handed too, but okay.

with nothing socketed you're going to be swinging at 8-frames. with 15 additional ias on your weapon 7-frames OR 25 off weapon IAS to hit 7-frames. take your pick. this is as fast as you will get with maul using azurewrath.

also i hope you really consider what you're doing. those jewels you have are hard to come by. i still think its a waste.

I agree with Jayson. For a PB, the damage increase isn't going to be nearly as good as with higher base damage weapons. IF you want to do a IAS jewel then do an IAS/AR jewel.

And Jayson, Azure is style, nublet :P

So it's best to not use HoW or Oak Sage since they have auras, herego making them carcinogens? (I think I totally bombed on the spelling on that one)

Azurewrath is mad style points, and I've only ever seen a total of five 40ias/4os pbs since 1.10, so the chance is astronomically low of scoring one unless duped.

Anyway, I'd save that jewel for an perfect etomb or something of that caliber.
