Congratulations, didn't see this one coming. My first thought when seeing the title was "Gee, another NF Guardian thread resurrected." :grin:

It's always nice to see slow/knockback characters. They make me want to play median (spore shot

It's hard to say, really. I don't think I have one favorite. I really enjoy the builds that you don't really see coming from 3 miles away but that work out really nicely. Like my fleshripper WW barbarian or my Ribcracker Assassin. Also fun if you find a sweet combination of items that synergises really well and makes an okay build great. I did that on my frenzy barb with his swords and on my fendzon with her whole gear. I enjoy using underused items, my Meteorbsorc with Iratha's Set & Chromatic Ire was pretty sweet, darksight helm on I can't count how many characters... Some others are just plain fun. WWsin, FA/LF/CSzon, Skelliemancer, Melee/Irongolemmancer, Strafezon, Novasorc.

Try though I might, I can't narrow it down to one. Maybe I could make my favorite 10 or 12, unranked amongst each other, but that would be it. That's what I like most about this game. There's so many possiblities, so many builds. Right now I'm playing two necromancers, switching every act because I can't pick which to finish first.

I don't know how wealthy you are, but maybe a necro idea? A trang's poisonmancer with a kingslayer as finisher(poison damage/lower resist/vengeance). If i had the roons, i'd build one now.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. I've actually been considering to make a kingslayer for quite some time but ended up needing the Gul runes I had to make a Lo. Also, I seem to remember that attack speed kinda sucks in vampire form, so might be best to split trang and melee attacks, really.

I'm with you on this one NF.

I'll be interested to see what direction you take for the DC Assassin. I have a build guide in progress for one, so I will be good to see the NF HC slant on things.
