Househunting turned into tug-of-war with the most unprofessional real estate agency ever, they're rude, don't call you back when they say they will (to let you know where you stand), and don't put you first, we tried to retain a property whilst we sorted out references, 2 days job at max, a service they offer with a fee, they said "We can't take it off the market cause we have viewings booked" (which is stupid, if we applied to take it with reference fees and stuff theyd have to take it off, retainer is pretty much the same), now we're contested, and we're having to chase them up for where we stand.

If the landlady doesn't choose us I doubt they'd tell us ethier, which puts us in a weird limbo thing as we can't really go for another place whilst this is hanging around.

I think we're just gonna pull out tomorrow if we don't hear anything, it's a nice place but now we realise why all the 1 star ratings on the review boards were for. (They were really nice up until we showed intrest)

Anyway rant over.

Hm that sounds awful. There's no other real estate agency you can use?

I've been told not to do that again at work as I'd be a bad influence on people. Seems this is true.

@Vivi: yeah there is and we are doing, pretty sure my other half is gonna storm into there office tomorrow and tell them we're done. We've got a meeting with another office tomorrow too.

I hated house hunting, it took up a lot of time and was overall frustrating with the bidding process and the back and forth of the matter. At least our real estate agent was fairly nice, but you know in actuallity they are all out to make a profit through commission, they don't care about what you really want.

RE: that's too bad, sounds like a real pain. It always sucks to move but it kinda sounds like you're going to have to.

If you can run a comp you can do a smart phone. A lot of the carriers also hold classes on how to use them at their stores.

I wish more women would use skirts, I never liked the jeans and shirt look, it's way too manly and I believe most girls use it because on a subconscious level they think being more "girly" is demeaning to themselves. That doesn't mean that a woman would find impossible to feel comfortable in pants, of course, just that a lot of those I've met have clearly stated how annoying they find jeans, but answer with a shrug when asked why they don't wear skirts. Is not my intention to generalize, just saying that I find skirts more attractive in a way to distinguish genders.

I agree, I really like the look of skirts.

I like the look of skirts too, the wife only wears them occasionally as she prefers the comfort of jeans etc.

My daughter however hates to wear pants.
