How do you sleep with an onion? ./not a joke is really curious
come on. i need to know.
Sorry for no sooner reply - medical issues got the better of me and no onion could cure that.
It's no time to joke actually. It's long past that. Had to see doctors again for continuing pain now combined with not being able to eat. The latter is, in my case at the moment, a reason to go to red alert straight away. I have a dietist who looks after me in that matter, and she's told me that it's more serious than I thought. I suffer from malnutrition and now have to drink fluid meals (the sort they give to people with medical conditions and severe underweight) in addition to the little I normally eat just to get me through the winter.
But some things can be cured by sleeping with an onion. It's not a miracle cure but if you're stuck with a blocked nose and you're all out of sprays and nasal inhalers, it's worth trying.
Take an onion, preferably a very fresh, sharp one. Peel it. Cut it in half. Put it beside your bed or pillow. It unblocks the nose a tiny bit.
besides is on a bedside table?
seems interesting.
poor vivi *hugs*
just pretend you're an astronaut
Aye, bedside table would be an idea.
I'd be a rubbish astronaut with these constant pains and worries...
you could be a mushroom! I was turned into one and it seems to be ok!
Sorry to hear that, Vivi.
Interesting about the onion. My wife would likely think I'm nuts if I tried that.
