Many people ask how to accomplish a mule trade.

Here's my how to:
1: Create another account on your CD Key. Easily done when you login. Just select "create new account". Examples of account name "SSNLDOMuler", "SSNMule" etc. Remember the account name and password. Ensure this Password is NOTHING like your main account password.

2: Create a new character on this account. (any random name or special one, it doesn't matter)

3: To move the equipment to this character there are three easy ways.
Make a game with a password:
3a: Have someone stay in your game while you move items back and forth. Do this by giving items to this person via the trade window. When he/she has all of the items you wish to trade, bring in your mule character from your mule account and pick them up via the trade window from your friend/assistant. This is the LEAST risky way of transfering.
3b: Have someone stay in your game while you move items back and forth from the characters that have the items to your newly created mule by dropping them on the ground. This is the 2nd least risky way of transferring.
3c: This 3rd method is the MOST RISKY if a game drops. Make a game with a password.
3c1: Stay in this game for a MINIMIUM of FIVE minutes. When you leave the game, it will remain up for TWO minutes.
3c2: After the five minutes. Test the game. Drop some non-essential item (TP scroll, etc..)
3c3: After the five minutes are up. Leave and begin bringing in the characters that have the items you wish to trade. This verifies the game is still up.
3c4: Drop the items on the ground you wish to transfer. One at a time for each character that has an item.
3c5: When all items you wish to put on the mule are on the ground, bring in your Mule character.
3c6: Pick up all items your are trading.
3c7: Log out.

4: PM the person you are trading the account name and password for your mule account.
5: The person who is trading with you will log in and complete one of the three steps above to trade his/her items.
6: When they are done they should PM you.
7: Log in and complete one of the three steps described above to pick up and transfer your new items.
8: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. This is important if you elect to execute more mule trades. This way noone will be able to acquire your gear if you do another mule trade.
