Re the resists potions, yes potions and shrines are all ok.
You swore to Daddy that you could beat Baal without needing to carry ugly unfashionable resists equipment. But a hard-partying girl sometimes needs a little drinky or a quick puff on a shrine... :cool:

I finally got myself to enter the catacombs under the monastary. It was so scary, Daddy. I don't think that place has been cleaned in at least a year, sort of like Tess' room. Speaking of my sister, she sent me some charms that increased my life by almost 50%. It was a good thing too, because that scary goth chick in the deepest level of the catacombs was scary. I finally got to use my newest skill, Daddy. Six quick zaps and she was down to a quarter health. My zappas then dealth with her ugly mohawk once and for all. So after that, I travelled with Warriv to Lut Gholein. he told me that I could travel back whenever I wanted. Yeah right!
As soon as I arrived in Lut Gholein, the town's big kahuna was waiting for me, telling me to stay the hell out of his palace and help some Atma. Isn't that the thing you use to send me my stuff? The tavern owner asked me to defeat some monster in the sewers, so I said, "look lady, I don't know about you, but I'm not going to go down in the filthy sewers", and you know what? She called me a spoilt rich girl! Well duh!
But eventually, I got enough of her whining and just went. There's only so much I can take. Besides, she promised that the monster was guarding something that would make my zappas more powerful. Well, he did. he also had some scroll that the old guy who followed me to Lut Gholein said was some sort of big thing. He showed me a picture of some sort of jewelry bow that looked so cool and he told me where to find it, so I got that too.
Right now, I'm resting in the Far Oasis, but I heard rumors about some cool items that go well with my new jewelry box, so I'll be on my way soon.
Oh, by the way, I found a pretty shield. It's called a Pelta Lunata and it's so beautiful. See Daddy, I can fend for myself. Now if you'd just tell Tess to GET ME MY LENYMO, I'll be a happy girl.

Finally defeated that Diablo character everyone`s jabing about. Had to sacrafise my boyfried to him few times, but I did it.
Now I`m in Harrogath chasing his brother. Hope that they haven`t got big family that I would need to chase around whole life.
Gotta go now, it`s karaoke night here, and I got to go stop Qual-Kehk singing.

Yes you can use the orb on weapon switch as long as you have one point in the skill. So if you have energy shield or teleport you can use the orb on switch.
However charged bolt and static field are your main skills and should be on your left and right buttons.
Weapon switch is for special purposes, like to buff energy shield or to teleport.

I re runed Baal many times (on p1.. that was fun :toughuntil I reached clvl 51, so I can wear that armor.
Entered NM, and finished Akara`s quest. My resistances are 0/-30/0/-30. It will be interesting staying alive here. I`ve equipped Ravenfrost, and maxed lightning mastery.
Now, where will I put points when I max Lightning :scratch:

Looks like Slayer Zapita is leading the brat-pack and setting some fashions now! "Hey, nice armour!" :cool:
As for staying alive, in the past I found nightmare fairly easy with a charged boltress. Just be ready to make a fast retreat (then spam bolts from a distance) if any monsters seem to have elemental damage (or ranged attacks).
Also, spamming bolts ahead of you as you run should put new monsters in hit recovery, so you can see them before they can attack, and then decide whether to take them down from close or a distance. With high mana and fast mana recovery you can always spam some bolts ahead of you when you run.
When I tested chars before starting this tourney I stripped all resists off my NM boltress and she was still easy. :cool:
