I'd like to nominate Insane Wayne's guardian Asteria, who I think is more impressive than Selena. Asteria, if you remember, conquered the game without the benefit of ever talking to anyone else, visiting the town stash, anything. Living off the land means every resource must be carefully thought out, with irreparable damage if the wrong one is made. All items break, backpack space is extremely limited, poisoning is cause for deadly concern, javelins run out, mana and rejuvenation potions are scarce, etc. Going to a town healer was never an option, and Asteria alone finished the game.
How did Asteria move between acts without ever talking to NPCs? I mean after killing Andy you have to talk to Warriv to be able to go to Act2. Act2 to Act3 need talking to Meshif.Originally Posted by OldSoldier

What tourney was this btw? it must have slipped by me because i have read alot and i mean alot of the past tourneys and i dont remember reading this one.
Aw and talking about nominating Insane Wayne's Guardian's what about his barbarian in the Money-hating barbarian tourney made by Jiansonz. Not only did he make it to guardain without using money at all (no repairs, buying etc) but he made his act 1 rogue merc (got in normal) a guardain too. How many people can say they have guardained an act 1 rogue merc?? not many.
Aw and not to mention his 2 naked guardians.....
