axe or phaseblade

Ok i'm makin my first barb, I'm usin the grief/beast combo but have a question. I'm under the understanding that when it comes to weps (grief) axes have a longer range but phaseblades have a faster attack speed. Simply put what is more important for a barb. This is just a standard ww barb (coa, fort, angelics) Which kind of grief should i get. Also i've fiqured for the charms to use masteries but what second mods should i get? I fiqure if i get them with str i could put more into vitality or should i just gc w/ lifers.

last thing is whats the fhr and frw breakpts for barbs?

And as long your grief is 34% ias or more you will hit the last ww breakpoint.

I haven't put much attention in pvp for a while but I am pretty sure no pvp barb would ever use mastery gc, isn't it all about the dmg/ar/life charms?

Frw doesn't really have breakpoints, it get some diminishing returns at some point but never really stop going faster, perhaps a quick search with the option should enlighten you on this subject.

yes, use a zerker axe. but no, do not use skill gcs. I suggest 32030's
3 max dmg, 20 attack rating 20 life small charms
