    Hammer owns barbs?

does the hammer wins most of time from barbs? i mean the barb has more to fear from hammer then vise versa because 1 hammer hit is usualy enough to remove more then half the barbs life points

It's not impossible to win versus a Hammerdin, but I do agree in the fact that a Hammerdin has a huge advantage over Barbs, mainly due to the amount of mistakes that he's allowed to make as opposed to the barb, where one of two mis-clicks can be fatal.

You should remake your barb if 1 hammer takes more than half your life away  I think BvB´s trully own other barbs, hammers are quite beatable but they do got a serious advantage. :wink3:

This truely depends on how smart the hammerdin plays, if hammerdins uses tele-ontop method, a good barb would use widowmaker and bow the crap out of the hammerdin. On the other hand, a skilled/smart desynch charging hammerdin would PROBABLY dominate barbs, but it's not impossible for a barb to win duels against a hammerdin.

I played barbs since 1.09, and Played as a bvc for a clan since late 1.10. I played almost 4 years of barbarians without trying to pk with other builds due to the fact I am a barb fanatic, and I have my fair share of any kind of hdins on west, be it TOFO, bbq, cool, or many other levels 94; 95; 96 soloists yet to named. However just after season 3 reset, I freshly made a level 92 griefdin to try, which I have absolutely no experience in dueling with one. I am surprised to see I get many kills against bvcs!

Imho, bvh is not impossible. w/m may messed many inexperience hammerdins a lot. But a normal hdin that is build to kill melees like mine, (I have only played hdins for only a few months, and is surprised at my skill level), as mentioned, has more room for mistakes. A trully skilled hdin will have bvcs for breakfast for 10 rounds straight! Given a first to 10, I vote hdins.

Hammers owned barbs because ww can be blocked up to three quaters of a hit, can be damage reduced by half, and is weak against very high defense. ww is also very very weak when minion stack comes to play. The new 1.10 runeword, has a caster weapon that gives +3 to all skills and 40fcr, and oak stack. Any ww hit checks will be messed up when minion stack comes into play. Especially when it comes to US West manner rule, where oak is pi in nm pk, bvcs are owned. Anyway, most 4v4 teams don't usually include hdins into play so barb players don't have to worry about enemies with high defense.

Even in pub bm pks, bvc is no match for a hdin who switch out his bo shield for a sanc. For a sacrifise of 2 bo, he can desynch near, sm that barb, and wolla, there returns the defensive hdin. There is absolutely no way a bvc can made a hdin go offensive in pubs.

To kill a hdin with ease, you need to bring in a windy or a nec.

I don't recommened widow actually against hammerdins cause a well placed namelock-tele will kill you with your bow out. If he tries desync alot, try catch him in a whirl cause his defense is crap in a charge and so is his block which means huge damage if you intercept him :wink3:

Personally, i think windies and necros are harder than hammer to kill. And really you don't need tele vs hammer imo. Huge damage is the best bet. Widow isn't my fav, but gets some defensive types back on the offense. I wouldn't think of widow as a killer, maybe a finisher or an annoyance vs some.

Necs are 2-hit kills and both necs and windies have to run from barbs or die while pallies just overpower us. Hammerdins have always been the bane of barbs and yes you need tele against them.

Just me I guess. Weren't you the one talkin bout' using 2 xgreif + fort vs hammers awhile back? Cause greif/beast + fort etc seems pretty darn good (unless vs windy/nec not so good)
