Gothic Bow needs a total of 60 ias to reach 10 frames
(10 on bow, 20 from twitch, 30 from deaths/sigons)
Rune Bow needs 70 ias for 9 frames
(20 on bow, etc)
Double Bow needs 80 ias for 8 frames
(20 on on bow, 20 from twitch, 30 from sigons, 10 from goldwrap)
Something a lot of people don't know is if you don't wanna use much IAS:
Chu-Ko-Nu needs 10 ias for 11 fames (12 default)
heres my bow:
dam. 27-111 gothic bow
111 AR
2 min dam
5 dex.
is it alright?
If the bow allows your amazon to kill the enemies, then I'd say it's quite alright.
With a bow like that, I'd probably use twitch, sigons gloves, sigons boots(or helm) and goldwrap belt, to get the 60ias needed to hit 10 frames.
One shouldn't get hung up on the maximum possible modifiers on any weapon. Just get the most from the weapons you find.![]()
Classic, where a runeword is a weapon missing the s in the middle.
what frame do u need to hit for IAS for a javazon using a normal javelin?
Also, is it better to use a javelin or throwing spear in diablo 2 classic? (throwing spear need more dex TT)
Presuming you want to throw (Furyzon?), I didn't to worry about any of the lightning skill breakpoints in classic.
There aren't a lot of items which give you mana after you make a kill and the physical damage from a thrown javalin (or even Harpoon) just isn't enough to cover the mana cost of the Javazon's thrown lightning skills. So you may in fact want to take it easy on the number of toothpicks you hurl at the monsters.
With such a javazon being mostly ranged, but for clean-up, she needs to get up close, so you will need to find a good balance with your resists, block and IAS.
