help with socketing

I have a 5 socket cryptic i want to make an insight out of , but insight only requires 4. I dont want to waste teh runes can i remove a socket or will it still work if i just put the 4 in?

You cannot remove sockets from an item, nor can you add sockets to an item that already has sockets. In which case, you cannot make an insight in a five socket weapon because it requires only four sockets. Putting it in that Cryptic Axe will not work.

That was a good deal IMO. Otherwise you could have made Obedience out of it BTW.

if its eth.....put obedience in......otherwise give it to akara...unfortunately:sad2:
