Hello, I'm new to SPF

Hello I'm new to the single player forum but not new to single player. Could you tell me how you go about starting tournaments - should I have participated in tournaments first. Any other issues regarding running them? At course you could just encourage me to make one just to watch it flop. Hi, and thanks.

I'm curious about this ladder tourny you're referring to, is it somewhat like the ones Cattleya is already hosting? HC and SC

Either way I'd suggest reviewing the currently running tournaments as well as a few of the finished ones to get a general idea how they work and what people are looking for. Then you could make a tournament idea thread to get opinions and assistance with your general theme and rules before posting an official thread.

Recently returned to study, mid 30's, male - I do live in Sydney so its 4:20am atm. As for my Diablo history, exD1 - rogue mainly. D2 classic when it came out, then Lod up till 109 - all online. -Big gap- Returned to 111b - singleplay/lan only.

Btw, can someone point me to the the bar that Maxicek mentioned? *rubbing shins* Too tired to think, see you tomorrow.

p.s. Interesting, Diablo is considered a misspell by this sites spell checker. It wants to replace it with Sociable :smiley: Night all.
