I would suspect that the MF is set when the Iron Golem is made - Golem's don't level when you do, so why would they get any benefit when you level? Heck, the bonus might even be the level of the IG instead of you, so you might be looking at only a ~10% MF bonus for your level ~10 IG, instead of a 70% bonus for your level70 necro.
