    You actually need an ilvl of 47 to get the allres affix on an SC (which has an affix level of 32). See the Strategy Compendium for a list of areas with their levels.

So that means i can run NM Harem Level 2, Palace cellar Palace Cellar Level 1,2, and Claw viper temple lvl 1 and 2. And tell me if im wrong rerolling ilvl 50 GC can make a skiller or not? and how did you calculated alvl into ilvl im wondering, thanks

    You also can't get a SC with 5% FHR and 11-15 life, as both are suffixes.

    Affix level calculation:

    if (ilvl> 99) then ilvl=99

    if (qlvl> ilvl) then ilvl=qlvl

    if (magic_lvl> 0) then alvl=ilvl+magic_lvl
    else
    {
    if (ilvl <(99-qlvl/2))
    then alvl=ilvl-qlvl/2
    else alvl=2*ilvl-99
    }
    If (alvl> 99) then alvl=99

    alvl: affix level
    ilvl: item level
    qlvl: base quality level (28 for SCs)
    magic_lvl: Magic level (0 for everything but circlet type, staves, wands and orbs... did I forget anything ?)

    Yes. Remind me again what the point of quality level is when a monster in the normal Blood Moor can drop a small charm.

    Although the question was probably asked in sarcasm, I'm going to answer it anyway :wink3:

    Quality level is irrelevent when determining whether a monster can drop a base item or not (though it does help determine the quality, but for charms that's not important either).

    The main purpose of quality level (with regards to charms) is to determine the affixes. A higher qlvl allows lower ilvl items to have higher alvls (eg, an ilvl 1 GC = alvl 1, ilvl 1 LC = alvl 7, ilvl 1 SC = alvl 14), but that reverses slighly for higher level ilvl's (eg, an ilvl 50 GC = alvl 50, ilvl 50 LC = 43, ilvl 50 SC = 36).

    95% of the time I'm right, so why worry about the other 2%?

    So QLvl is like GLvl (maGic Level), except not additive - the odd if/else routine listed above. If this keeps up, I foresee Diablo3 being a complete piece of crap. Of course, I see that already, but this just cements it in my mind.

    I'd say it's the complete opposite. Each oddity would make the game more interesting.

    OK, maybe the alvl creation looks a little odd. I don't think it is unbalanced or unfair in any way, so I don't understand why this makes Diablo crap.
