Hoto or Beast for Uber Summoner?

Ok I want a definitive answer and reason to why you think which is better. I cant seem to get a good answer for either one. Feel free to battle it out if someone thinks otherwise lol

Beast, coolness factor of bear form alone makes this the best weapon for a summoner.

i cant see a particular reason why hoto would be that good for an uber summoner
skills? if thats a concern, leoric's arm would perform better imo
resists? that shouldnt be a problem with fairly good gear and a homunc
    oak sage? wisp projector

not that ive ever done ubers
it just doesnt seem like a particularly amazing summoner weapon to me in general

    beast is pretty though

Beast all the way... like the guy above me said, there are reasons hoto is ok as a summoner weapon, but they can easily be covered by other things, excluding the +3 skills, which (and i might be going out on a limb saying this) is overkill when you're fully geared with the charms and everything. beast offers fanat... not only is it the second coolest aura in the game(beaten only by salvation), it massively boosts ar, attack speed and damage for your skeles and revives... which may be enough to distract the ubers away from your infinity merc :P All in all, beast is a far better weapon, IMHO, for ubers, than hoto

Alright, ill make a Beast then, see how it fairs.

Right now durring meph's conviction all my resistances are positive (not really saying much) but they are still low. My light resist is around 24, the rest are lower except poison which isnt effected by conviction. So if i use Beast then ill have to get a bunch of resist all SCs.

honestly you don't need either one, but beast is better.

My necro summoner easily solo'd ubers at level 80 with crap gear.

I always use Wisp for HoW chrges. Hoto+Wisp = wisp dies every time you switch between weaps. Just something to consider

Summon with AOKL, Make an Iron Golem out of the Beast, and Hold the Hoto for battle!

    Problem solved.
