as said, you hit the breakpoint very fast. You need 35 extra ias with max fanat. This means that with loh, the most popular glove and a 40/15 jewel you are set. Easy as that.
With mb, you already hit /2, I think and this make loh overkill on ias. Really, for strafe, gmb is a good choise.

Wouldn't he need +50 IAS with a Max Fanaticism Faith GMB to reach max fpa with strafe? Not 35?

And yeah, it is 50% IAS needed for the nice bp with GMB and 14/15 Fanat.

It is still very easy to get. LoH or 20 ias crafted gloves, and Andy with 15 IAS jewel works great to cover what you need. Or if you prefer, just use cat/highlords and free the helm for something else, as long as you put an IAS jewel in it. Either way, it takes up very few of your itemslots and leaves plenty of space to muck about with other fun gear combos.

if you go for 8/2, you are just obsessed. You need 35 ias for 9/2 and that is all you need. If you want, sure 8/2 is easy though it doesn't help much and you will need to sacrifise more then you need for 9/2, somthing that apperently is a problem for some people.
If you take more ias, you take it for multi breakpoint, if 8/2 happens to be close and you don't mind using the ias equipment needed, then go for it. Though the multi breakpoints will be those that are usefull. Not that one frame in a 25 frame attack.

Not really the dissadvantage this bow has is speed, where as faith etc can hit faster bps which means more dmg over time compared to windforce

I have stealskull which i think has increased attack speed, so if i get a windforce i can socket it and put a shael into it. I'm more worried about power than i am speed. Right now I'm using a shael socketed buriza untill i can get my hands on a windforce.

. . .which is not a bad idea at all while you are waiting for that all-elusive Windforce to come along. Burizas kick major butt. I am also using a Buriza on my Frostmaiden until I can procure a better weapon.

Hell- I may even make another frostmaiden just to put the Buriza on after I get a better bow. They're that good.
