Okay, I was so sick of everyone playing hammerdins and smiters, so I tried a new build, but it turned out okay, luckily.:laugh:
I don't see why ppl wouldn't try any other skill builds for pally, it makes a big difference in the gameplay. Just because you try a new build, you get called a noob, but I disagree. You should try to be more creative I reckon. Here are some of the stuff I tried.
Everyone hates this pally, and called me a noob whenever I played with this. But I think he turned out quite strong. Charge into a monster, and then Zeal with Holy shield and Fanaticism aura active.
I maxed out Charge, Fanaticism, Holy Shield and Might (adds more damage to charge). The rest goes to Zeal. I didn't max out Zeal because Zeal does not give much better stats as you increase its level. I found that Charge is an okay skill, especially for PvP, because it has incredibly high damage and attack rating (highest attack rating out of all pally skills). And with fanaticism, you do a lot of damage. It knocks them back too, so you can keep charging them (kinda like smite). This pally I put no stats on Energy, and mostly on Vitality, then Str, then Dex.
My pally has 2k life, deals 11k damage with charge, has 15k defense and 14k attack rating with charge. I think he's pretty strong, and the other skills shouldn't be underestimated. I find that I beat most hammerdins in pks, because if I keep running from them, I found that they couldn't hit me with their hammers. And then I charged into him through the gaps between the hammers and then Zealed him to death. I think this is worth trying out for all those who are bored of Hammerdins.
