The sudden piles of forum games

Am I the only one who's finding this sudden glut of "games" popping up to be incredibly annoying? I tend to be rather easygoing, but it seems like a new one pops up every day, just as senseless and pointless as the last. Maybe I'm just overreacting - I haven't had the greatest few days, due to lack of eating properly - but every time I see a new one, I can feel an imaginary red line rise higher.

Am I the only person who feels this way, or am I a complete and total wacko? Well, more than I was previously?

For the most part the games are irrelivant and annoying. But every once in a while there are some fun games to mess around with while wasting time at work and aren't bad at all. Either way, no need to partake in them if you don't want to.

I know, and I don't take part in them. But somehow, they seem... spammier, than is normally accepted on the OTF board. I mean, a lot of what's on here serves no real purpose, but the "game" threads really take that to a new level.

Another one of those "definitely didn't warrant a new thread, if you don't like it don't participate" situations. I am astonished that it bothers you, that is just weird.

Yeah, most of 'em seem ridiculously pointless. But I don't see it as being much of a big deal. I mean... don't like a thread/don't think it's warranted, you can always just ignore it. And if it's above and beyond stupidity, you can just report it.

It's really no biggie. But yeah, I know all about bad days. :wink3: I think we've all had them. Everything/everyone just becomes that much more obnoxious.

I bet some people think the 'debates' that happen here are done just for the +1.

I say if a good sized group of people is still posting in the thread let it go. If it is two people playing corrupt wish for 9000 posts, then lock/delete.

I don't consider them spam though, they have a topic, stick to it, and generally get people talking.

They are kinda lame but whatever.

I figure this forum is mostly for talking about random and/or stupid crap, so don't let people tell you not to talk about this. The ones telling you to just ignore what you don't like are also usually the first ones to start a fight about something they don't like, so again I guess yet another OTF problem is solved with an answer of "whatever."
