    Help me

Are nightmare runs worth doing? All I seem to find is nagel rings and crap. I have
a lvl 82 zealer he can take on all of act 1 in hell. BUt I need better gear to take out the rest of the acts. So I am stuck doing NM runs :-(

    What should I do?

Also are cow runs worth doing?

My opinion is this: use your zealer as a general PvM char.. but build another for MFing (etc).

    Welcome to the forums.
    *steals pants and wallet*

You could try making a caster (ie. sorceress), since they're much less gear-dependent than zealots, so that could allow you to MF in Hell for gear to upgrade other chars.

I play a zealot for mfing sometimes because you can take the time to kill everything on the way very fast and quite easily. Post what gear you have so we can try to figure out why your not doing all of hell.

If all you can handle right now is act 1 do pit runs. The pit is in tamoe highland and all the monsters in there can drop every in game item except for a few. It's also an excellent place to find socketables that can be traded for HR's

An added bonus is that the pit has pretty good exp as well and is (relatively) easy compared to other level 85 areas.

I don't think that a zealot is good at MFing if you are poor. You will be better off with a sorceress. Nightmare Mehpisto is good enough to drop 60% of the uniques and set items you need and a sorc can even kill him while wearing crappy gear - the moat trick has already been mentioned. Another 30% come from hell Meph and the other 10% of the uniques/set items come from Baal, L85 are monsters and the like. A fireball/meteor/frozen orb sorc is able to deal with nightmare and hell Meph as well as Pindleskin and the Ancient Tunnels in hell mode (below the act 2 Forgotten City - another L85 area) while wearing tons of equipment with MF bonuses.

As the current ladder season is rather old now, there are many people who have several mule accounts full of the stuff you are lacking and willing to sell them for gems, so it might be a good idea to collect perfect gems and buy items from these. Visit crowded areas in nightmare for them, like cows, flayer jungle etc.
