i leave tomorrow to vientiane (capital of laos), spend a night there since it will take about 12 hours to get there from where i am over bumpy "roads" (more like a dusty path through the hills lol) then cross the thai border and catch a bus to bangkok.
which is where my father will arrive on 5th of february.

dads are funny. this is sooo typical for him. when i told him that i would do this trip he couldnt understand me at all and rather wanted me to go study asap.
now, after seeing all the pictures and listening to the stories i told them, he got excited like a little child when i asked him to join me for a trip through vietnam for 2 1/2 weeks and he is bombing me with questions per email everyday.
thats gonna be so much fun wahahaha, like it always is when i do something alone with my dad (so mom wont cry about us getting drunk in the evenings - not every day but .. yeah you know what i mean) and of course i expect him to pay for me
