I've been having a lot of trouble running my Diablo II LoD on Vista. I've tried running it under XP Compatibility, and running as administrator, but nothing seems to work. I start the game and after about thirty seconds the screen distorts and the game becomes completely unplayable. I downloaded the newest patch from Blizzard, and checked the Gateway website to make sure I had the latest video card drivers, but it still doesn't work! Please help!
Here are my system specs:

Hello there, welcome to the forums.
I'm don't know a lot about Windows Vista, but there's a stickied thread dedicated to problems running Diablo 2 on Windows Vista, located at the 1.11 Bug Reports & Suggestions section. Your problem may have already been covered over there. Otherwise, there's a good chance someone there may be able to provide you with some tips regarding your problem.
Good luck.
I think the problem is that my video card is only set up with 8MB RAM, but for some reason my BIOS won't allow me to change it and I can't figure out why. I'm thinking about taking it into BestBuy and seeing if they can do it for me. My computer is still under warranty so yeah. I'm still up for helpful suggestions.
I wonder if there might be problems specific to LoD not experienced with normal. I use Vista and got normal to work, but since my CD Key faded for LoD I can't test that.
