I myself am kind of wondering if he admitted to using an "illegal" armor, or careless math (which I have been known to be guilty of) or if in fact he's thinking xpac. *shrug*

although i swapped mils with a eyeless for the +5mana per kill. works wonders!

You could get even more using ptopaz armour and tancred boots ^^ But your killing speed must be suffering horribly. Not in 1 player games much perhaps, where 2 kills = 1 big dead crowd, but in games with more players certainly.

yeh this is what i am worrying about. im tossing up wheter to go bonespirit or spear. 1300~ dmg for one monster at 21.5mana
or bonespear. 800~ dmg at 11.5mana. ill just have to level up and see how effective this is. if this is no good i will try a summoner/ce

im level 49 now and bonespirits are leaving a light grazing if anything. im scrapping this build and going with poisons. max dagger/explosion/nova. and weave a poison explosion into the ce's. ill start on this tonight and let you know how it goes.

A perfect Topaz gives 24% and magic/rare boots allow for 25%.
How is a legit armor in classic going to top 25% MF ?
Not to mention boots can also give up to 80% goldfind on top of magicfind.

ouch. I didn't dream that people were still using tanc's and/or mila's shield. and I hear ya' on the in-head calculator, as I mentioned, I too have been known to utilize careless in-head math when posting here.

in keeping with warlock's wishes of getting this thread back on topic, I'm not so sure that Ray (akukami) had in mind that this build would be a MF character, but was more inclined to share it as a viable HC build that's not super expensive, and viable without being one of the "cookie cutter" builds.

He'd probably be interested in some of these variations if he still played.
