@OsTo: If you really say that "boners suck at PvM" then don't play them. And also as you stated you have a "PvP bone necro", then play them in pvp games not in PvM or else you'll just get pissed again on how "boners suck at PvM" then come here again complaining how "boners suck at PvM."

Maybe play from time to time single player (so no infinity and other godlike stuff) and you will notice any single char with a single attack type (physical may be an exception) sux much more than bone necro as bone res/imm. is the rarest of all types. Take Fireclaw druid as an example (I am not a specialist in shapeshifters but this is theoretical case). A fully synergized one. This means synergizing fireclaws itself + all synergies = no points left for anything else (or even take a variation with one less synergy but maxed lycantrophy). You have NO infinity. And what? you are out as soon as you reach hell or even at the end of nightmare.

You compare it to your MF-PVM chars. It doesn't make sens as I said but ok, lets suppose it does. You even forgotten that MF-runs are done solo. Now you compare it to players 4 training bonemancer... You enter games with such number of players mainly for PvP I think, so don't consider it PvM run for gods sake. You go for team exping? So you still won't be main killer anywayz.

My bone necro has 90 lvl now, maxed Bspear/Bspirit/Bwall/Bprison, 1 clay/1GMastery/1SResists, 1 LR + prereqs (this is mainly for some fun in team duels and good for training with elemental classes), rest goes to teeth.
Equipment for PvM isn't as amazing either:
Ptopazed Shako, Ptopazed Skullder, PDia Homun, Trang Gloves + belt, SoJ + Nagel, Rare necro skills ammy with only really top end item being self made 40res HoTo.
no skillers, no anni, only res/vita charms, 33% Gheed & necro torch.
And I make item runs and PvM in quite decent (at least for me) rate.
Clearing pits and cows is walk in the park as soon as you get a first kill.

You confused me about the equipment so if I got it now:
your PvMers are MF-geared and necro is top-geared (skillers, etc.)
this means really good range for CE... play with some more characters and if you say sth is worst in comparison with the optimals - than this statement is worthless IMO.

There are PvP characters, and they are PvM Characters.

Some builds can be adapated for both by swapping gear. However, if you are in PvP gear, don't expect to go munching through WSK and whatnot, and be surprised you don't. This works for the same reason that PvM (MF, in other words) Sorceress' "suck" at dueling. Because they're not duelers, they're mfers. The only possible exception to this rule is an hdin, but what are they NOT an exception to?

I have a lvl 93 V/T that devours pub games like a fat kid on a Hostess cupcake, yet it would take FOREVER for him to, say, solo Throne. Yeah he can Uber by slappin' on a LW, but that's something else entirely. Even an uber smitadin sucks at basic PvM, although he excels at ubering/bosses.

The moral is stop pointing out what is obvious; next you'll be complaining about how wet water is and how the sun is bright. OF COURSE your PVP Bonenec is not the best pvmer around; he's a PK assassin, not a mfadin or MF lite sorc...although in fact he would do better at PvM than a lot of other PvP classes.

I hope this helped to alleviate some of this unnecessary e-raging...

well i get 2 mixed signals here.
1. part of you guys keep telling me its ok to MF with boner
2. part tells me to stop comparign PvP vs PvM.

1.
try build other charaker for mfing and you would never go back for boner. Its just fact, he might be somehow ok for running mephisto, couse he fast tele and its no problem waiting little longer for killing meph, at least you wount get ban for being too fast
Considering that other chars could be much much more flexible and faster its waste of time..
If you wanna keep on running CS with boner - whatever, but best thing is that 95% of kills is by skill he got one point invested of all 100skill points.

where is logic in that? on any char on any class pvp gear is your best, how come, that when u put it on, u cant go "munching" (what ever that word means)

hammer, smitter, FOHpala/ javazon, bow/ trapsin, hybrid sin/ elem druid/ sosos/ wwbaba/ poison necro, summoner/
these are common chars i met on PvP, other classes you find realy hard.
i can only point foh pala and maybe smitter as worse as boner. so thats not that lot is it?

Then go equip urself 4 ptopazed or psaphired monarch/SS instead of homunculus, and fcr/skill circlet instead of shako for PvM then. Oh and leave the threks and don't use WT ^_^. now u see the logic?
when "munching" (I assume it's machine gun speed killing PvM with no worrying for survival, correct me if I am wrong) you only need to get these 75% resall on hell (with additional 30 for "anya penalty") some reasonable life and all the rest is damage and effectiveness of certain skills. And that is mandatory. And when dueling you usually switch gears sacrificing one thing that will not be a threat for another. In pvm is more general and of course MF is always very important in pvm whereas it is useless in pvp. In pvp I think most bone necros use setup to get 125% fcr/86%fhr which incorporates threks, fcr/skill/sox circlet and fcr jewelerry - but going with these to PvM, ESPECIALLY for MFing?
