Yes, it works. It is one of the reasons Summoners are so easy to play.

Witch Doctor = top half of a Flayer Shaman = cracked-out, grass-wearing, jungle hobo = bobbing clown who vomits leaves a.k.a. Bobo the clowning village idiot. And people thought Necromancers had an image problem.

Ok, i have a few more questions

If some item give a lvl 14 aura, will this be + by my items? like if i have 10 to all skills, will this also mean my aura?

And if i have 10 different auras on my equip, they will all have all the auras right?

I don't think so, since the items give +skills and the aura isn't a skill that you control.

Yes, if you, your merc, or golem, etc. have auras then so should your minions.

(correct me if i'm wrong on anything.)

Also stacking auras is tricky. For example you have a bramble armor (thorns aura) and an Edge bow (thorns aura again). If you give one part to your merc and use the other one on yourself then the auras do not stack. If you put both on your Act 1 rogue then the auras stack and you get a level thirty something thorns aura (same thing if you put both on yourself). Wierd huh?

I am curious to know what equipment you will be using to generate 10 different auras?

    good luck and good hunting!

Holy Shock, Freeze, and Fire auras only add damage to the character who has the aura-granting item equipped.

    Your options are as follows:

    From Items:

    Fanaticism
    - Lvl 9 From Beast (Ber+Tir+Um+Mal+Lum in 5oS Axes/Scepters/Hammers)
    - Lvl 12 - 15 from Faith (Ohm+Jah+Lem+Eld in 4oS Missile Weapons)

    Concentration
    - Lvl 16-20 from Pride (Cham+Sur+Io+Lo in 4oS Polearms)

    Conviction
    - Lvl 12 from Infinity (Ber+Mal+Ber+Ist in 4oS Polearms)

    Vigor
    - Lvl 10 from Harmony (Tir+Ith+Sol+Ko in 4oS Missile Weapons)

    Thorns
    - Lvl 15-21 from Bramble (Ral+Ohm+Sur+Eth in 4oS Body Armour)
    - Lvl 15 from Edge (Tir+Tal+Amn in 3oS Missile Weapons)

    Holy Fire
    - Lvl 14 from Dragon (Sur+Lo+Sol in 3oS Body Armour or Shields)
    - Lvl 16 from Hand of Justice (Sur+Cham+Amn+Lo in 4oS Weapons)

    Holy Shock
    - Lvl 15 from Dream (Io+jah+Pul in 3oS Helms of Shields)

    Holy Freeze
    - Lvl 12 from Doom (Hel+Ohm+Um+Lo+Cham in 5oS Axes/Polearms/Hammers)

    Sanctuary
    - Lvl 16-18 from Lawbringer (Amn+Lem+Ko in 3oS Swords/Hammers/Scepters)

    Defiance
    - Lvl 13-16 from Exile (Vex+Ohm+Ist+Dol in 4oS Paladin Shields*)
NOTE: In order to use this aura as a Necromancer, you must make an Iron Golem of the Exile item

    Meditation
    -Lvl 10 - 17 from Insight (Ral+Tir+Tal+Sol in 4oS Polearms/Staves)

    Might
    -Lvl 17 from Last Wish (Jah+Mal+Jah+Sur+Jah+Ber in 6oS Swords/Hammers/Axes)

    Redemption
    -Lvl 10 - 15 from Phoenix (Vex+Vex+Lo+Jah in 4oS Weapons and Shields)

    From your Act II mercenary:

Prayer, found on Normal and Hell Combat

Blessed Aim, found on Normal and Hell Offense

Defiance, found on Normal and Hell Defense

    Thorns, found on Nightmare Combat

    Might, found on Nightmare Offenses

Holy Freeze, found on Nightmare Defense

NOTE: The level of the mercenary's aura is effected by both his level and if he has any +Skill items equipped. For a complete list of mercenary stats, go here.

    * Paladin Shields include the following: Targe, Rondache, Heraldic Shield, Aerin Shield, Crown Shield, Akaran Targe & Rondache, Protector Shield, Gilded Shield, Royal Shield, Sacred Targe & Ronadache, Kurast Shield, Zakarum Shield, Vortex Shield. If it is any other shield, the Runeword will not appear.

Also, note that ALL Paladin shields are capable of having 4oS.

Theoretically, the maximum number of auras a necromancer can have is 8, I think:

    1. Your weapon
    2. Your shield
    3. Your armor
    4. Your helm
    5. The standard aura of your merc
    6. Merc's armor
    7. Merc's weapon
    8. Merc's helm

A paladin can get another aura himself. An Act III merc could get a shield but would lose the standard aura that Act II mercs have, so this would make no difference.

Would be an interesting puzzle to decide which combination of auras would be best.
