Quallada -- your pm box is full, but here's a summary of my thinking right now for both of you:
Your offers are pretty close to each other value-wise in my estimation -- I think dcdg might have a slight edge at this point (though I don't value that +5 str lit gc too highly). That could change though depending on some specifics: whether Quallada's 2/20 is 2 sockets, the stats of his griffon, and whether dcdg's 3/20 circlet is 2 socket or not.
Edit: One detail -- I'd like to get a spider in this trade as I don't have any free right now.
Light sorc? Just list what you are gonna use for her and I will bid again. DOnt worry.
Are you going to base this simply on light sorc stuff or overall value? Because I am sure there are a lot of valuable items out there that I can use. For eg, if you value plain pcombs, would you value a coa or eth treks etc?
As far as the helm goes, take the griffs. A 2 soc magical helm has nothing on it.
You're right -- I really should have been more clear from the outset.
I place the highest importance on the empirical value of the items (if they were to be converted to currency) though in the case of a near tie, it would have to go to offer that has the greatest usefulness. I would be very much interested in a CoA as I have plans for a smiter in the works. The pcombs I actually don't need any more (picked them up in various trades) but I am willing to accept for their value. Bottom line though -- the highest value offer will win.
I'm willing to put out my ignorance here about why a griff is so much better than a 2/20 -- it has one less extra skill, 5% more fcr (which could be important if it forces me to use fcr ring > soj), and the lit damage stacks onto lit mastery.
With dcdg's offer of 5 pcombs, 2/20/17str/15 res all sorc, 17-/11 griffons, ptravs, 2 spiders and rest 20 life scs, I think he has t/o by a little bit Quallada.
If you were to put in rest 20 life scs with your bid or 2 spider then t/o would be clearly yours -- I'm very interested in getting a 2soc CoA from you because I can be confident that it won't poof.
