Post any HC games here from any version and mod status. Please make sure to always state the version and mod status of the game you are hosting. Your characters and items are considered modded if they have had any interaction with modded items or characters through trade, MP, or giveaways, even if you do not use the mod yourself. Please note if you are hosting a RWM status game in this thread where RWM is not actually installed on the host, so people don't waste runes trying to make a ladder runeword in game.

Hey guys! I don't have any non-tournament characters that are even in NM, but I'd like to start a new character with someone.

I play RWM/RRM, the most current version (11.1b right), and I won't be twinking the character except for some gold to buy tomes. I don't mind playing with someone who twinks though.

I can play weekdays at 6 P.M. Eastern time and lots of times on the weekends. I'm available anytime today or tomorrow (not Sunday though).

I have planned to start a new character soon, most likely a druid. I'm not yet sure when to start. I've been a bit busy lately, and now the mini-MFO is running so I have spent my freetime doing that...timezones are bit of problem, I'm at GMT+2 so there is 7 hours between us? I'd rather sleep my nights :laugh: Weekends are an option of course.

I'll try to host games quite often, MFing, leveling, questing...I don't support rushes, and I prefer good teamplay.

Soon it is time to start filling this thread :grin:

i have never mp'd in hc before. it is tempting though, especially reading your post, LprMan. i would be untwinked and like to full clear.
i am a little concerned about lag though, sometimes in mp games im not even sure where i am, finding myself taking damage even when there doesnt seem to be anything near, then suddenly bouncing back into a mob.
if i see you hosting a new chr game i'd like to join you and give it a try though.

I actually live in the Central time zone (GMT -6) so that's eight hours difference. (I put it in Eatern time to make it easier for most people.) I bet we could still find a time to play though. =]

I haven't MPed in HC either, dune. Sounds like you have bad latency problems - what type of internet connection are you on?

By the way guys, I'm a slow type of player. I can speed things up to medium if need be, but I don't like playing games where everyone is moving super fast.

i have a feeble dialup atm. i miss my broadband but im not sure how long i will be at this address so i will have to wait to get speedy again.

this sounds fine to me. i like to savour hc and rushing in where angels fear to tread gets you dead real fast in hc.

Just pick the one you like to play. Or maybe a MF char if you want to go that route. Almost every time, team > sum of its members.

I'm going to play with Thyiad soon (we have barbs at hell act 3). I'm not sure how far we will advance, so there is a slight chance of me hosting new chars game after that. Tomorrow I have time to host a game for sure.

I have usually twinked my chars though...I could cut down on that if it is a problem. I can also provide you guys with starter gear, I have a nice giveaway stash.

So, what char do you sugest? Some kind of MF? The chars i have in SC right now are Blizz sorc, Fury/Rabies and a Meteorb. Are there any characters that can do Mephisto runs efficently(that's the best place to start right?) and are not on my list of SC chars? Maybe a Blizzorb or some other class as i got bored with sorceress:grin: . I'm available all this week as I'm on spring breaks.

edit: I guess I'm gonna build a Blizzballer sorc. I think she will do ok. And when I get some good items from Mephy then I'm going to play for fun. Thanks for advices!

If you want to start building twinking stash for future chars ---> MF char. If you just want to play through the game, well...then there is lots of options.

As for MF builds...sorcs are obviously the best, but I can imagine a zon with CS or some fast hitting guy with CB can do the job well...there is other good builds for sure.
