Thanks for the heads up. I noticed while installing D3 that it automatically adjusted the video settings to fit my requirements. No shadowing, low textures, etc. It also set my resolution to 800x600 but I manually upped it again to 1280x1024. Hopefully this works at least a bit, would be lovely to get me through next week until my PC arrives. You said it happened to you 3 times, over which time span is this?

Did you have those settings in the beta? My settings were all the same as I changed them to in the beta.

Still playing solo, currently Act 2 norm. Damn this game is tough!

I played through normal on solo, and have to admit, the story is great!

Unfortunately my WD pretty much fell flat on his face damagewise in nightmare. He provides great teamsupport though!
However i need to figure out his skills abit better to up my personal damage.

Well, this brings back memories. It's been sooooooooo long.

I just hit level 60 in D3 for the first time and I'm kinda... not.. really.. liking the end-game potential, so I'm a sad bunny right now :(

Is anyone else really bored with D3? I can't even bring my self to complete Act3 NM.

Not bored at all personally and I don't really understand what all the fuss is about. I've read tons of posts by people explaining why they don't this game but I can't disagree with them more. I stopped replying because it doesn't make any sense anyway. I'm still loving it! I'm not lvl 60 yet though so I haven't experienced the end game yet.

Another wonderer here, the game is great. Danger, tactics, kiting... A2 NM and lvl 39 WD. Granted, the A3 beginning is frustrating with 0/6 quests as I still get the graphic freeze occasionally (yes, the drivers are now up to date) leave/resume game and start all over again. My next goal is to enter Hell where the real loot starts to drop, I hope. And I have 4 classes completely unwrapped for the future.

I didn't play the beta. In the meantime my new desktop PC has arrived though so it's running like a rocket on max settings now!

I'm running this on my lenovo laptop. Lowest settings, around 90 FPS max. Honestly I don't care, max vs low settings, is not gigantic - it's not crysis.
