Some native English speaker (Mark Twain?) once said that English is like a mix of German and French, but lacking the good features of the two.

Maybe Germany should ally with France and invent their own mix of German and French, called Germench. Then we invade England and Poland and we... err, forget that, it's an old French and German reflex which will be completely overcome soon.

As you hopefully know, the 4th (!) annual ETF Gathering is around the corner (weekend of the 15th September). Quite close around the corner to be exact and it's about time we organize some stuff - and time for YOU to buy your tickets and join us for an awesome weekend of partying with fun people from all over Europe (or even the world?).
Specifically we'd like to know who is coming and going at what date so we can start looking for a hostel. They're always happy about our crazy schedules with everyone coming and going at a different time / day, so we need to get that done soon
