I wonder what it would be like if everyone world wide on diablo had their accounts reset to the very beggining. If every single person had to start from scratch. All dupes and hrs destroyed. It would be glorious for me. A true legit game it would be.

Unless Blizzard finds a new way to make items drop or be identified orso, something the dupers can't use.
Then it would be usefull indeed, else it'd be just the same as a ladder reset.

And while on that subject, if they truly want to make it a challenge again, rearrange all the monster stats and skills damage, then people would start all out as newbies again, since nobody would have any idea what would be fearsome to encounter, and which skills are the best to use

actually that's magic arrow.

However, I've played a mod where quill rats shoots guided spikes, and fallen shamans casts firewalls instead of those measly firebolts. Now that really made new mobs a scarier encounter!
