It's been bothering me for quite a while now. Just how much does a single point of dexterity give AR? I remember reading something about it being 30? Also, is this AR multiplied by the regular +AR% multipliers? I was just thinking, for example, EBotdZ got +30 dex. With 30 per point, that's +900 AR. After +485% AR, that turns out to be an extra 5265 AR. Doesn't sound realistic to me, somehow.
So:
1. How much AR does a single point of dexterity give?
2. Is this added AR multiplied by the +AR% multipliers (most likely it is, just confirming)
1. Dex adds 5 to the base attack rating per point (see http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.ph...ttack%20Rating)
2. Yes, it gets multipled with %ar bonuses (the %ar bonuses are added together), as well as all absolute bonuses to ar (e.g. from a Ravenfrost ring)

1. It varies depending on character class.
2. Yes.
For specifics on how you calculate the base AR, go here.
Bah, I'm slow. And I wrote it wrong too!!

Dang, I should've known it, 30 AR per point in Dex would make Ravenfrosts WAY ovepowered at, at best, +850 AR before multipliers which can end up easily as +5000ish. Not realistic, according to that my BvC should have 'too much' AR.

how many AR points per 1 dex does the barb get?
+1 Dexterity = +5 base Attack Rating, regardless of class.
