Si I'm finally going to rebuild my Hammerdin based on this guide. However I'm also considering getting myself a +3 Hammer Eternity scepter for kicks. What do you think?
with a build like a pubbing bm hdin, why would you ever need to use wolves
you can town almost whenever you want, you can juv, you can kill monsters for corpses ridiculously easily
vives can take teeth/spear/hammers better too ~_~
theres no reason to be using a crescent moon lmao
plus you can make a +redemption eternity ^O^
this paladin is kinda designed for pubbing so I don't see why you are getting so angry at the juving comment
for the post count +1, obviously lmao
yo, it's just my opinion on the matter
i dont know why you would even bother "post" comment on something as tiny as a differing opinion on an internet discussion forum lmao
It's best to use a widow and fort vs BvC's
and leap attack. Leap attack for the win.
Aren't all PvP characters designed for pub dueling?
I'm not angry at all. It is the basic principle of a Duel.
A guide is to help a player who knows little about something, grasp more knowledge and improve their game.
A PVP guide telling someone to use Juvs or pots in a duel is not a successful or practical PVP guide. If you make a guide that can beat up everyone at the same time fine. But if it can only do it by cheating death by adding more life through juvs & pots it fails.
I'd bet that if the 7 opponents knew that the player was using juvs and pots and then they also turn and used juvs and pots the build would fail.
Juvs & pots are a crutch to keep your character alive because it can not handle the damage it takes.
Their is one reason to use pots and juvs; To avoid immediate or potentially eminent death of your charcater.
If you’re scared to have your character die, don't play PvP or Hardcore.
No. Pub chars are made for overall survivability vs all chars+multiple opponents. 1v1 or tvt chars are built differently.
You just don't understand that juvs/healing help hdins more than most other chars. The author clearly directed his comment to "players who know little about it", i.e. you. It was an informative sidenote btw, if you don't like it don't use it. I would be more worried about grief charge/smite in your clothes. It means autowin vs your beloved own-all-builds-with-decoy-and-valk-amazon and that would obviously be BM (omgomg).I'm not angry at all. It is the basic principle of a Duel.

To clarify for any other readers incase they also thought I was promoting BM, I am not.
The Amazon I mentioned in my other post was mentioned to illustrate that juvs are BM. Using them in other builds can be as effective or even more hence the slow missiles. As the author agreed to, juvs & pots had no place in his guide.

It's a hammerdin discussion, I'm sure we can keep it flame free right?
I myself don't juv in pubs, others do  it's subjective.
I'd say it's best we leave the gm/bm argument out - it just won't be settled.
