1 point in poison nova, assuming you have some great gear will give you about +26 skills so lvl 27 poison nova with no synergies does 750dmg over 2 seconds. Now pvp penalty 750/6 = 125dmg/2sec. Factor in resistances 125*0.25 = 31dmg/2 seconds. Theres the hell penalty of double poison length as well but regardless good es sorcs will have about 1k life (i guess?) so 1 pt poison nova isnt going to help all that much

It does, I have it on my nec. Instead of tanking tons of your spears a few novas takes them down.

great guide mate why no mention of boneshade though? if you get a perfect one of them they can be quite nice :smiley:

A perfect White wand is far superior. (+8 spear, +6 spirit, +3 whatever skill you want. [Revive, Amp, Decrep, w/e]).

A regular +8 spear whitewand is better too imho.

i have couple questions: y wouldn't you recommend a homunculus? isnt that the best blocking shield for necros, it also gives skills and resis. its like the combination of spirit and ss.
that chainlocking looks difficult, u play on ladder west right? it would be cool if you could see me in games and give me some tips, my max blocking necro is getting eating alive a lot of times in public duels.
btw how do u set up hotkeys? and wt does ibs stand for?

I setup my Hotkeys A S X on left and Tele and Decrep. on right ( I use mouse scroll).
A S X is really simple to change between skills fast.
Pingky is on the Shift key.

iBS stands for Invisible Bone Spirit.
