What Resolution do you use?

Was screwing around in the options menu you today and started changing the resoluton size. Got me to think who uses what resolution and why. I have alwaysed used the 640x480 resolution because i think thats the default but now that i look at the 800x600 resolution the picture is sooo much clearer. I guess both have their trade offs. Which do you use?

I use the 800x600 resolution.

There is no tradeoff when using 800x600, except your computer is 10 years old. Therefore I think this poll will show a 20:1 ratio for 800x600 :azn:

BTW, after I voted, I got forwarded to a thread from 2005 which is a poll about which music I'm listening to while playing Diablo :scratch:

Ah well, yesterday polls didn't work at all.

800*600 here too, reason: Feels better, you see more.

Ah, I still remember the good old days on my Commodore where you had a giant screen of 320x200 :rolleyes:

Heh.

I'd personally go for a 1600x1200 DII res, without increasing vision space.

It'd make for a much better picture...

I use 800x600, btw.

Wow. I saw the poll and just assumed I used the 800x600 resolution. Thought that was the default and wondered why in the world someone would use the 640x480 resolution. Guess I know now, since for all this time I've been running in the lower resolution. :shocked: No apparent reason as my PC is rather new, just pure ignorance. I always thought it was odd how I couldn't see very far as the sides kept getting in the way...
