    TCM the Beginning.

Not a bad flick. Gratuitous killing but that is to be expected. The problem is with a prequel, one kind of knows the ending. All through the movie I knew the ending.

    Wild Zero.

I can only say that I was not happy with it. I could only watch about 15 minutes of it before turning it off. Hot Japanese men in leather just can't sustain the movie. It just seemed to me to be a horror wanna be along the lines of Rock and Roll High School. I know that is not horror, but there was just something about it I was not in the mood for. I will give it another shot at a later time. I do like my eye candy. I do have to say that this movie exposed me to Guitar Wolf. They were/are pretty cool.

    Ultimate Versus:

That will be in my grubby hands tomorrow. I am so excited about that. Versus has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Three disks of Tak Sakaguchi just makes me swoon. Sadly, I didn't care that much for Battlefield Baseball.

Slither in on the menu for this evening.

    House of Wax

    Rating: 10/10

The Vincent Price original (well, I say original but there was actually an even earlier version, I guess this was a remake...). Great movie, tight plot and witty dialogue, great performance by Price of course, also keep an eye out for a young Charles Bronson, that was amusing. Slick and polished, I loved it.

There was one scene with a guy with a paddleball, and at one point he breaks the fourth wall and bounces it right at the camera, I couldn't figure out what was going on there until I read up on the movie on wiki and found out it was one of the very, very few films made for stereoscopic 3-D... that ball coming at the screen is supposed to be very impressive if you see it in 3-D, OMG so awesome...

    Bad Santa (2003)
    Rating: 7/10
    Fun: 7/10

An alcoholic lowlife seasonal mall Santa and his midget friend get a new job at the Phoenix mall, playing mall Santa and his little helper. He loses his house and everything he owns, so he steals a little kid's house because his parents have been gone for many years, and his grandmother is too dumb to tell. He takes over the house and starts to rob the mall he works at over the nights.

Honestly its just a plain out vulgar movie, swearing to little kids, every bad thing you could imagine. Great movie, pretty good morals, really funny but really vulgar. Overall, its a good comedy, original and doesnt go overboard with the lame humor.

    Cannibal Holocaust

    9/10

Finally, I was able to get a copy of off Netflix that was watchable.

If you do not have a strong tummy, don't watch. It had some of the most realistic gore I have ever seen.

I can only relate my impression on present day. I was a young pup when the movie actually came out.

The first half of the movie is an anthropologist going into the rain forest to help find a group of journalists who are making a "documentary" on the cannibalism exhibited by the native tribes. The first half of the movie centers around said anthropologist searching for, making friends with the "cannibals" and finding the filmed footage of the previous expedition.

This movie is infamous for its depiction of animals. Yes, there were real killings of animals in this movie, but it was in line with the story. I didn't watch the turtle scene nor do I like what was done in this movie regarding the animals.

I really can't say much more about the movie in case someone wants to see it. To me, the movie was about how far journalists will go to get the ultimate story.

As I said earlier, do not watch if you don't have a strong tummy. Graphic gore, female and male humiliation/death runs abound. It was not gratuitous though. Very gory.

I really liked it and am still thinking about it.

I don't want to do spoilers. I am sad that this is going to be remade.

To me, it was a very good movie. It wasn't gratuitous gore. What is it you don't want to see? I did turn my head in a few places. The turtle and the pig I couldn't watch.

I had to do a bit of research on the movie and found out that the director was jailed for creating a "snuff" movie..the gore was the realistic. He produced the actors and was let out. From what I gather, the unedited version is still banned in many countries.

Heh..sometimes I think I need a new set of friends.
