Well, i've been getting bored with softcore and i am in the mood for some adrenalyn rushes. (Yes, i know..)
In hardcore, is there chaos games to level if i find a bug rush? uber games? What's the best way to lvl?
How hard is it to come across items and get started? Is there any forums that allow trading of softcore items for hc items? Or is anyone interested in trading(We can talk on aim or msn or something.. just post and we'll get in touch)..
How hard is it to find a bug rush, if there is such a thing..
How would you guys suggest leveling?
Maybe this is a stupid question, but if all you do is get grushed, power leveled, and then buy all kinds of nice items with your leftover softcore wares, what exactly is the point of coming over to Hardcore?
Stupid questions aside, if that is in fact what you end up doing, I don't see a very long and prosperous life for many of your toons as the best way to learn your characters' capabilities and limitations is to play them through the game, or at least most/part of it.
Rushes, chaos games, and ubers games are a good way to get yourself PKed. Unless you have a bunch of friends with godly gear, you're S.O.L. here.
There's a site that has its own form of D2 currency. I can't link to it here, but I'm sure if you ask around on bnet someone will point you in the right direction.
I've found that the best way to get gear (and assure your long term survival in HC) is to make a new character and take it out the gates of the Rogue camp. You'll find monsters out there. Kill them and you'll get experience and they'll drop stuff. Equip whatever stuff you can and take the rest back to towm and sell it. With the money you can buy and/or gamble more and better stuff. Rinse and repeat. The next thing you know you're a Guardian.
Hahaha!
It's rare, but yes.
Some people (myself included) do not do the 'Rush' thing and then end up with super characters in two days in Hell level without ever swinging a weapon. They trade for the exotic equipment and rush the levels and end up with a character that for all intent and purposes should be uber, but because they don't know how to actually PLAY diablo they die and blame the build.
Cracks me up when guys post questions like "I'm a level 88 in hell, what should I do with my 90 skill points?" or "I'm in Hell- what gear should I have?"
Well Hmm. IF YOU PLAYED, you'd know what you needed!![]()
Sorry to vent, but this is a sore subject with me.
I give him a week. By then he will have traded most of his SC stuff for HC stuff, lost it all to TPPK and gone crying back to SC.
