Hi all,
apologies for my sudden disappearing act yesterday. It wasn't at all intended and I couldn't do anything about it.
Basically, my internet connection was blocked by the ISP due to complaints about spam that apparently originated from my connection. I've checked the pcs and found nothing strange. I've still yet to check another pc that was connected on Saturday and then I'll arrange to have the block lifted. The suspicion is that somehow a trojan found its way in and does its evil deeds unknown to the owner. I think the pc in question is the one my son uses for lan parties etc - who knows what crap is on that :-)
Please let me know where you got to and I'll see about catching up before next week.
well.. you were not the only 1 yesterday... since about 5 minuts after you tigrael also started to get problems with Bnet. he got kicked out, and tryed joining a dozen times with no succes. then finaly Bnet or DII managed to chrash his entire PC. about 45 minuts later he managed to get back in the game again and we did a little questing. (we killed the girl on the burial grounds and got stony WP). then the lagbeast got so horrible that tig decided to go to sleep and the rest of us saw no point in going on....
so you dont have to do much catching up.
i reaaaaaaly reaaaaly REAAAAAALY hope for some lagfree, crashfree playing comming up, since the recent times we god bugged quite a lot.
next monday i cant make it (i have to work that evening :embarassed: ) but the week after i will be there again and make sure we got a good evening of fun play!
I just heard that I've got to schmooze some visiting partners, and that will be on Monday evening, so unfortunately I'll have to be absent as well. The good news is that the firm pays for the food and drink.
Can only echo the sentiments and frustrations caused by bnet. KTA is just about my only online involvement atm, due to all the useless lag etc. Maybe this is exactly what Blizzard wants. Then they can shut down the D2 servers and concentrate on WoW. Sad and pathetic ...
