advice infinity sor

hmm k i read some guides & decide to make a light sor carrying infinity more to nova sor i guess. i guess this built can solo run well but i need to find out is this built possible to do "mini ubers" like i said mini not the big ubers ;p

A light sorc can take down mini ubers easily, get marrow walk boots or some other way to cast bone prison and trap them. Izual can tele, but he'll go down quick anyway.

u will also need a decent merc to take the attention away from the sorc as they're quite fragile when hit.

I dont think she would be able to handle the mini ubers at all, key run yes, most definity, but the mini ubers i think not.

For starters, lilith would be impossible, a self wielding nova sorc goes for energy shield, which means high mana acting as life, one poison attack from Lilith will cut you down FAST due to poison bypassing ES and going straight for your low life. Healing would also be a pain, while ES will absorb alot, if it breaks on you, your usually toast right after (damn mana burn packs).

The things needed for the mini ubers are generally the same as the actual ubers, crushing blow, high damage, lifetap, and a way to counter there fast regeneration. Its hard to apply open wounds or poison with a spell, and you cant count much on your merc.

Blizzard pretty much made it so casters can't due the Ubers, but the mini ubers are possible with some (Like a pure light sorc stated above), but seeing as how a nova sorc has to be more in the fray, I don't see her doing it well, and I wouldn't count on a merc at all, even if you life tap the mini ubers, the merc will probably die anyways. I just use my summoner, meh.

Mini ubers would be a stretch but the rest of the game should be fine.

I have personally done the mini ubers and all of tristam other than meph with an infinity light sorc, it is extremely simple when you trap them with bone prison.

From experience using nova infi carrying sorc, Lilith is not practically doable, the other mini ubers are a pain. Never tried bone prison though, my build is too tight to equip marrows though (81str)

My short experience with the uber is me using a decent necromancer for distraction and lower resist while my uber buddy used an inf light sorc to kill em...It went horribly wrong, let me tell you. The resistances they have are insane. Lilith's poison made us take endless TPs while she healed like crazy. Bottom line, it didn't work as you might think with 50+ High rune gear. I think it might be impossible soloing without marrowalk.

Strange part is my buddy went and got a random pally (some zeal, some fana a bit of all), we equiped him with whatever CB we could get, I used revives to draw fire and lifetap to heal the pally. Piece of cake she was down in minutes with gear worth 1 maybe 2 HR.
