    A zealot can hit at 4 fps (smite is capped at 6 fps).
    a zealot reach 4 fps with only 8% IAS on a PB and lvl 20 fana IIRC...a grief PB offers already these 8% IAS....

    ok, tired and ive got a headache so if i miss something tell me,

    there are two types of IAS, for here onwards they will be known as IAS and EIAS (effective IAS) IAS is a mod on items with in the game that effects the number of frames you swing with, (@ donny) IAS exists for balance reasons, and stacks with IAS from other items but alone doesnt suffer from diminishing returns, and so it is converted into EIAS using this formula:
    EIAS= 120*IAS/120+IAS
    by putting infinity into that formula we can see that the MAXIMUM ias possible is 120EIAS
    however IAS given by a skill is in the form of EIAS for game simplicity and instead of a formula that gives diminishing returns the EIAS gained per lvl suffers instead, so total EIAS given is calculated by this:
    Total EIAS= (120*IAS)/(120+IAS)+EIAS(from skill)-WSM
    then you simply look up your break points and see where you fall
    the calcualtors that are around including that 1 that you were linked to simply preform these calcualtions in a nice neat format for you.

    the game mechanics use EIAS, you dont really see it very much....

    edit: smite always hits and is uniterputable, allowing much safer tanking and CB application...

    Yes. I know what EIAS is and also what WSM is :grin: because the time I use to read thing about diablo II are much more than I play diablo II .For the people who not enjoy read thing about diablo II and only enjoy play diablo II. Just look IAS break points tables . If you use skill like fana that have IAS mod, just forget of the break points and get you self some extra IAS that not force you loose killing power. Or PM one of the mods here let them to tell you how many IAS you need . Do a IAS calculation my self??

    EDIT:
    BTW EIAS=120*IAS/(120+IAS) not 120*IAS/120+IAS just in case someone confused

    i was trying to be informative, yes i forgot the brackets and correct they are nessacary... :undecided:
    i nvr doubt you knew what EIAS WSM etc are, but for the sake of completness and to inform the reader i decided to try and give the full picture and btw thnx for pointing that out...

    ill just correct it:

    there are two types of IAS, for here onwards they will be known as IAS and EIAS (effective IAS) IAS is a mod on items with in the game that effects the number of frames you swing with, (@ donny) IAS exists for balance reasons, and stacks with IAS from other items but alone doesnt suffer from diminishing returns, and so it is converted into EIAS using this formula:

    hmm 2 write this another way:

    total=(120*IAS) +EIAS (skills etc)-WSM
    EIAS (120+IAS)

    hopefully that will remove any abguituty (spelling :undecided

Do a IAS calculation my self -Erm YES! i just told you exactly how... and the calculators are there as well... i mean ffs krischan just used the cal him self... why cant you?

    The short of it all is that IAS is (like much of the game) unnecessarily complicated, use a calculator and save yourself the agony.
