In fairness, this apparently isn't tied into things like the ignition system or "black box" - yet. But do you trust even something as non-critical as your sound system in the hands of Sir Billy?Originally Posted by The Beeb

Hoary enough?
ford already has one foot in the grave...didn't their new ceo just order a lexus?
Simple systems like turning on music, there's no risk.
Messing around with a phone, you might end up paying for a call to china.
But letting a car park by itself, I can imagine a few situations where the car wouldn't be able to calculate a factor that wasn't programmed.
Now I'm not even gonna bother explaining the danger of letter it drive by itself...
As for Ford, they don't have a problem selling the cars and making a profit, the real problem lies within the employees, there are toomany who could easily be sent to the door, they're just wandering around, drinking coffee allday etc, and others that don't care about anything and just do their work really crappy.
so what happens when the car listens to the radio?![]()
That's what built in Hydrolics(sp?) are for!
*imagines car hopping down road to rap*
