just found out today! I got into Johns Hopkins University early! woot! :starry: I was sitting at my computer constantly refreshing my gmail and waiting for the email, but it just never came. Then after a long nervewrecking ten minutes, I decided to check my Yahoo mail. Whoa and behold there it was.. subject line: Congratulations from Johns Hopkins
Anyways, there's a second part to my application. Even though early decision is technically binding, I may not actually be going to JHU... because I also applied for the Biomedical Engineering Major (#1 in the country at JHU!). That's reviewed by the department and the decision will be in my admissions package in the mail. If I don't get into the BME major, my early decision will be void so I can apply to other colleges (which what my parents want.. for me to go Ivy). So if I don't get into JHU's BME program, then it's Yale here I come! lol

Congrats!
Congratz!
Wow, I'm a junior and this is just making me cringe with jealousy as I know I'll never be, how do you say, "Ivy" material
...damn, screw that. Get into Hopkins.
That's definitely a very big deal to get into Hopkins in BME. I'm a third year pre-med BME student here at Tech and even though I don't know what BME is like at Hopkins it's definitely a tough major. But if you can prioritize and manage your time well you should be just fine. Also it doesn't hurt that Hopkins is the #1 medical college so getting there as an undergrad can definitely help you get into medical school. Good luck!
Congratulations!!
And i have to say I'm almost DONE with college!! yessss 1 more semester and its overrrr.
Congradulations! I guess today is the day when people find out about early decisions... In English today, some kid was so happy that he got into a college, he told everyone, and the teacher heard him, got very mad, and said "for every person that gets accepted, there are 9 people that gets rejected, so stop cheering!" Then later we found out that one of the teacher's relatives (who also goes to the same school) was rejected from an early decision..
