@MartinLong & Fabian: I'd say joining early is the most fun. At first you can get a nice progress without too much effort. Later on it becomes (much) more difficult.

My pack-rat habits have helped me here. I've never before really focused on perfection, but I've kept every S/U that's dropped from a number of different sources, so my S/U stash now has ~11k items in it. Just by chance, I have a bunch of perfect or near-perfect items.... It took a few hours to collect the data, but it was kind of fun to re-discover some of my stuff...

Another update, found 2 more perfect items (Moonfall & The Atlantean). Getting closer to the top, but it is slow. The ethereal part is increasing faster, so watch out Grisu.

Well, I've advanced about 1.7%, which is a big deal once you get above 50% or so.

My ethereal grail still sucketh mightily. In my youth, I used to Charsi all my ethereal uniques. Oh well.

I see some rly rly impressive numbers here, I never thought someone would reach the 90%. I see all in the top4 have been acitve last 6 months. Nice competition. Gogo 95% perfection and 300 perfect items are the next goals!
Are you still using the excel sheet I made? I uninstalled d2 long ago and so do not have my found items anymore.

You could always rejoin ofcourse. There's nice progress to be made when you start out with nothing

As far as the table goes: still slowly making progress. Not much but it's there. 300 perfects will have to wait a while longer. I'm at 270 now (+4 since last update).

Welcome back (I hope!?), EasyGijs! Yeah, we're still using the excel sheet

I will have some improvement to report over the year, because I still have some active tournament characters, who found perfect items or ethereal ones, and I only note them and add them to the perfect grail once the character died or completed the tourney. And then there's the running MFO...I hope to make some improvement there, too! But every percentage point is very, very hard once you reach 90%...

So, I hope to see you around more often (it's been over 3 years after all!!!) - maybe you'll feel the itch for a restart some time?

btw, thanks for starting the Perfect grail! It's what keeps me MFing *g*
